What is ancient Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes (sugar, diabetes)?

 Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine in India, has several ancient treatments for diabetes (sugar or Madhumeha). Here are some of the Ayurvedic treatments for diabetes:

Diet and Lifestyle Modifications: Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes involves dietary and lifestyle modifications. A low glycemic index diet, rich in whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and lean protein is recommended. Physical exercise, yoga, and stress reduction techniques such as meditation are also advised.

Panchakarma therapy is used in Ayurveda to detoxify the body and balance the doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha).

  4. Uses of Indrajo (Kutaj) with almonds and and Roasted gram : Indrajau seeds which are similar to barley: This yoga is a wonderful yoga, it has been tried on many patients, I have got 100% result. Sugar starts decreasing after consuming it. Almond was included for this reason. It removes all the weakness of the sugar patient. Gram was added to reduce the bitterness of Indrajo.

  5. Method of making a mixture of medicines for sugar (Diabetes): Make separate powders of all the three medicines and mix all three and keep them in a glass jar and eat one tea spoon only once a day after eating by water.
